Karin Halverson is currently pursuing her Master's in Urban Planning at the Bartlett School of Planning, University College London. She is on the MPlan City Planning program (RIBA and RTPI accredited) with expected graduation June 2023.
Karin is a graduate of Vassar College 2020 with a major in Urban Studies with concentrations in architecture and geography. Alongside a minor in Art History, Karin maintained a strong studio art focus with work in photography and drawing/drafting by hand. Karin takes a geographical edge to her urban and architectural work resulting in an emphasis on sustainability and social equity. Karin has worked alongside the likes of Nea Studio and Amanda Reynal Interiors as a contributing designer, in addition to her art history work with the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center and the Barrett Art Center.
Karin has also worked with the United Nations (UNHQ NY) on managing their gifts collections and updating their gifts database management system. Additionally, Karin contributed to the Maryland-National Capital Parks and Planning Commission's (MNCPPC) Cultural Arts Study for which she developed an interactive map of public art in Prince George's county, Maryland.
